Local History Centre
The History Centre contains a comprehensive archive of Walcha family history documents, index cards, some birth, death and marriage records, photographs, and a research library relating to residents of Walcha and the surrounding district from the 1830s.
The Centre is situated in the back room of the Walcha District Library, at 42n Derby Street. It is open during Library hours: Monday & Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (closed 1.00-2.00 pm); Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10.00am – 3.00pm, or at other times by arrangement.

Basic Research fee is $35.00, plus 20c per copy for photocopying. Family information may also be requested by filling out the form below, or by mail through: PO Box 41, WALCHA NSW 2354.
